Headshot

Description

A head shot is any shot that causes instant death with a shot to the head or neck.

Unreal

• The RazorJack can cause instant death with a headshot; however, if the victim's health is over 105, it will not kill.
• The Rifle, however, will kill instantly (unless victim's health is 155 or higher) or immediately wipe out a shield belt with a headshot.

Unreal Tournament

The Ripper, as the Sniper Rifle, will cause up to 157 damage with a headshot. The chainsaw can cause an instant kill with a sideways swing.

Unreal Tournament 2003

Lightning Gun does up to 140 damage with a headshot.

Unreal Tournament 2004

• Sniper Rifle does up to 120 damage with a headshot.
• Lightning Gun does up to 140 damage with a headshot.

Unreal Tournament 3

The Sniper Rifle does up to 130 damage with a headshot. The helmet pickup adds 20 armor to a persons armor pool and if at least 1 point of it carried by a person, it will block a headshot. After the headshot the helmet armor disappears.

Unreal Championship 2

While the damage caused by the RipJack is unknown, the Sniper Rifle will kill instantly, shield belt or no shield belt.
