The GES bio rifle (Green Exploding Shit) is a weapon in Unreal, Unreal Tournament, UT2003, and UT2004. In UT, the primary fire of the bio rifle shot semi quickly and did some moderate damage. The real power behind the weapon is its deadly secondary fire. Holding down the secondary fire will fill up the bio rifle with its deadly goo, which takes about 4 seconds to complete. Once filled, releasing the secondary fire will unleash a big ball of goo which spreads apart on impact.

In UT2003, the bio rifle was largely the same, but the fire rate had been marginally increased and the shot distance was greatly increased, making this already powerful weapon even deadlier.

UT2004's version toned down the distance a notch making it a tad bit more balanced, but it can still be very lethal. The distance a glob flies is based on the amount of charge in the shot - primary fire shots go quite far, while a fully-charged glob goes considerably less distance. A direct fully-charged shot does about 210 damage, an amount rivaled only by triple-stacked spiral rockets and a well-timed shock combo. The blast radius is also quite huge as well, at about 380 units (compare to rockets/flak shell at 220). This makes charged goo a quick way of taking out someone who is heavily armored. Someone with 199 health or with 100 health and 100 shield will not be able to survive the brunt of one of these shots.
