The '''Squid''' is a underwater monster that was cut from [[Unreal]]. Squids were originally planned to make appearances in [[Bluff Eversmoking]] and [[Dasa Mountain Pass]]. The monster is fully functional, and can be used in home-made maps and mods, or summoned in the regular game.
These creatures are large and are never seen in both [[Unreal]] and [[RTNP]], as their presence in [[Bluff Eversmoking]] and [[Dasa Mountain Pass]] were deleted prior to the release of Unreal.
 
Now they are mostly used in various SP mods as rare enemies or bosses.

Squid's method of attacking is simple: they'll advance to the preys to slap or thrust them with the tentacles. After attacking, the Squids will retreat to another position, releasing oil to confuse you; the smoke isn't really that dark and you can perfectly see through it. After a while, the Squid will begin once again its assault.

Any weapons work, and they can be easily defeated by standing outside the water. If for some reasons the Squid comes out from the water, it will jump like mad, trying to return to its home environment. Unlike the Devilfishes, these ones cannot die after long periods of time on land.

The Squid is a underwater monster that was cut from Unreal. Squids were originally planned to make appearances in Bluff Eversmoking and Dasa Mountain Pass. The monster is fully functional, and can be used in home-made maps and mods, or summoned in the regular game.

The Squid is similar to an Earth squid, but has only six arms instead of eight, and no tentacles at all. The creature is mostly dark green, but has red eyes and suckers.[1]
