Universal Translator

An Unreal 1 item. A SP-only tool, and the most important of them all. It's found at the start of every SP Mappacks, and its location in the Unreal game is in the prison area of Vortex Rikers. You need this for reading all the messages (named "Translator Events") found across the various levels, as they can contain useful information about the story or how to go forward in a map. It is the only item having a shortcut button from the start (F2).

Trivia

The Translator was supposed to read also Hints found across the maps. The feature was never completed.
