Shock Rifle

The Shock Rifle, also known as the ASMD in early games, is an energy-based weapon that fires either a bolt or a core (orb). In all of the games listed below, except Unreal 2, you could shoot a bolt at a core to cause a shock combo.

The Shock Lance is a weapon that fires either a ball of energy or a pair of plasma bolts.
