Final template?

Right, here's my take on a new template for the map pages. I started with the first suggestion from Talk:DM-Deck17, but then decided to change the lay-out and fix the width of the picture and the tables to align everything and make it look pretty. The picture could be a bit smaller still, but it'll do. I've also described the weapons first and the pickups later, since that's the order of importance, I reckon. Weapons and pickups locations can be seen on the map, ammo's location is described in the tables. I could probably add Health Vials on the map as well (if I can find an icon for that), but I'm not sure if that's necessary. I have to say I'm quite pleased with the way it looks now. It does need a Pictures section showing the key points of the map (in between Tips & Tricks and Trivia, probably), but other than that, I'd say that this is the way to go. Any thoughts/comments/suggestions? --Kaithofis 16:24, 7 May 2008 (EDT)

Symbol keep vote.svg.png Keep Very nice template here IMO. But maybe Strategies = Tips & Tricks? --GreatEmerald 16:30, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
Symbol support vote.svg.png Support I'm thinking Tips & Tricks is something more suited for DM maps, where Strategies is a better term to discuss the teamgames' tactics under. It's merged now, and pictures have been added. --Kaithofis 07:29, 8 May 2008 (EDT)
Symbol support vote.svg.png Support I think this looks good. Along with the image, it looks better than what I had previously and works for a larger variety of detail levels. — Haarg 22:07, 8 May 2008 (EDT)

Capitalization

Shouldn't this be BR-IceFields? I don't have UT2003 handy to check, but the F is capitalized in UT2004. — Haarg 00:41, 22 May 2008 (EDT)

It seems that you are correct. I'll get on it --Kaithofis 06:22, 22 May 2008 (EDT)

Featured articles?

I'm wondering why LA doesn't have Featured articles that would be the excellent pages and would work as a base for others? Most other wikis have them. And there are really some articles that are worth getting the featured rank, for example, this one. --GreatEmerald 16:29, 27 May 2008 (EDT)

Having a featured article has always been something we've been interested in, but for a long time the only pages with much content were the game pages and the Unreal walkthrough. We probably have enough content now that a featured article would be viable. In addition to it being shown on the main page, we could probably have something about it on BU's front page as well. — Haarg 20:54, 27 May 2008 (EDT)
