Category talk:Maps
From Liandri Archives
I originally had the ' {{PAGENAME}}' on the subcategories to purposely list them all at the top without a letter heading. While I can see the letter headings being useful on the weapons listings, they just look kind of silly here. --Haarg 09:14, 26 August 2007 (EDT)
- I'd suggest inverting the list. Unreal versions should have the pagename while the usual ones shouldn't. Also a single player map type should be added somewhere. --GreatEmerald 11:44, 20 May 2008 (EDT)
- The list would look silly with letter headings for each gametype. There will only ever be a couple more gametype categories. — Haarg 17:16, 20 May 2008 (EDT)
- What about Team Deathmatch, Coop Game, King of the Hill, DarkMatch etc.? I know most of those use DM maps, but you can't play KOTH in UT2004 (only Chaos KOTH ;) ) etc. Though DarkMatch has only one map, DkNightOp. Also, I'd say use the Template:Infobox Map for all SP maps, including Unreal ones, so Single Player maps would be in the list. Would be not a small list then. --GreatEmerald 05:17, 21 May 2008 (EDT)
- These are map types, not gametypes. You've only listed two additional map types, and one of them only has a single map. Including those, the only letter heading with more than one entry would be D. — Haarg 11:21, 21 May 2008 (EDT)
