== Overview ==
 
The relics are powerups which spawn in a random place in the map and teleport to some other place after not being taken for about 27 seconds. They give a permanent boost of some characteristics, a special benefit to the player or cause a special event when dying. There can be several relics in one game, but players can have only one relic at a time. It is possible to change relics by throwing the one held (bind ''mutate tossrelic'' or in the configuration menu) and taking the new one.
