The Corrupt are a team of cybernetic Liandri Grand Tournament competitors. They are human-built and are entered and owned by the Liandri Mining Corporation.

Members all look robotic, but are based on diverse designs. Many were defeated and reprogrammed rebels from the LBX-7683 Robot Uprising. These were originally designed for mining and heavy labor. Others were originally built for advertisement or entertainment purposes; their designs were usually inspired by the human female shape. Some were designed to be warriors from the ground up.

The Corrupt are perhaps best known for their leader, Xan Kriegor.

Unreal Tournament

The Corrupt is Liandri's sponsored team entry in the Tournament. It is entirely made up of the best advanced AIs that the corporation's wealth can buy, and features the reigning Tournament Champion, Xan Kriegor, as its leader.

Unreal Tournament 2004

Xan Kriegor was long regarded as invincible, until Malcolm defeated him in the fourth officially recognized Tournament finals. After a long hiatus, he has returned to lead the Liandri team, The Corrupt, back to the championship. Xan is sitting out the early rounds, which he perceives as beneath his attention.
